Nosferatu the Vampyre: With live accompaniment by Tom Roberts

  • The Maple Leaf 115 Sedgwick Street Pittsburgh, PA, 15209 United States (map)

We are so excited to welcome back stride piano player, Tom Roberts, to The Maple Leaf for another silent movie event—just in time for Halloween season!

This time, Tom will be showcasing another silent movie, Nosferatu the Vampyre. The movie, originally released in 1922, is inspired by Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Roberts has re-scored the piece, and created a masterpiece of sound and film.

He will bring this silent picture show with live accompaniment to The Maple Leaf in Millvale on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Tickets are $20. Doors open at 7:00 pm, and the movie begins promptly at 7:30 pm. Light refreshments will be available, but please feel free to bring your own.

Halloween costumes are strongly encouraged, and who knows, there may even be prizes!
