The Allegheny City Ragtime Orchestra will be performing the compositions of the first generation of freeborn southern African Americans. The monumental works of Scott Joplin, including his ballet, will be performed, as will previously unheard compositions by forgotten Pittsburgh ragtime-era composers.

The performance will take place at the Calvary United Methodist Church on September 15, 2024 at 4:00 PM.
